Join us for East Meets West: An Evening of Asian Culture and Cuisine
This special event will be held at our new school in Newton, 150 California Street on Saturday, April 14 th from 7:00pm until 10:00 . In addition to a silent auction and authentic traditional Chinese music, entertainment , and dancing, the East Meets West event will feature a Photo Contest based on the theme Elements of Healing: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood . All photos will be available for purchase in the Silent Auction. Ticket prices are $30.00 per person.

California Licensing Board Recognizes NESA's
MAOM Program
On July 14, 2003 the California Licensing Board recognized NESA's
Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree program as meeting
the requirements set by the state of California Department of Consumer
Affairs. California's Acupuncture Board has granted NESA alumni
who graduated with the MAOM degree in August 2002, December 2002,
May 2003 and future MAOM degree recipients to sit for the California
state
examination.
NESA has provided the California Acupuncture Board with the names
of all eligible graduates and has contacted previous alumni who
are eligible to sit for the California examination of this ruling.

to the laws and regulations relating to the practice of acupuncture
