California Licensing Board Recognizes NESA's MAOM Program
On July 14, 2003 the California Licensing Board recognized NESA's Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree program as meeting the requirements set by the state of California Department of Consumer
Affairs. California's Acupuncture Board has granted NESA alumni who graduated with the MAOM degree in August 2002, December 2002, May 2003 and future MAOM degree recipients to sit for the California state
examination.
NESA has provided the California Acupuncture Board with the names of all eligible graduates and has contacted previous alumni who are eligible to sit for the California examination of this ruling.
