NESA CLINIC
The NESA Clinic and satellite clinics comprise the teaching clinics for the New England School of Acupuncture.
The main NESA Clinic is located on the first floor of 150 California Street, just two floors below all of NESA’s classrooms and practice rooms in Newton, Massachusetts. It is conveniently located near public transportation on the Newton/Watertown line. Combined with ten NESA satellite clinics located throughout the greater Boston area, NESA interns provide the public with over 32,000 treatments annually for a variety of conditions.
The NESA clinics are teaching environments where interns treat patients under the direct supervision of experienced and licensed acupuncturists. Patients receive Oriental medical care at an affordable price while also participating in the education and training of future acupuncturists. Patients can choose to be treated with Chinese acupuncture styles, Japanese acupuncture styles, Chinese herbal medicine or with a combination approach. The on-site Chinese herbal dispensary is stocked with an extensive selection of herbal products for patients under the care of a NESA intern or a licensed acupuncture practitioner.
Appointments are available Monday through Saturday, day and evening. We are accessible to handicapped patients and on-site parking is readily available. The newly-constructed clinic affords patients private treatment rooms, welcoming staff, and a peaceful setting – all to facilitate an educational and healing environment. NESA is committed to making acupuncture and Oriental medicine affordable and accessible to the greater public: we offer discount services to senior citizens, college students and military veterans, as well as use a sliding scale fee structure for patients with a documented financial need.
