KELLY LIBRARY

NESA's Kelly Library offers students, faculty, alumni and the public the largest collection of English-language Oriental medicine literature in North America.

The extensive selection of books, journals and multimedia resources on acupuncture, Oriental medicine and other related topics - including biomedical texts and materials covering the culture, philosophy and history associated with Oriental medicine - support NESA's program and constituents.  Currently, the Kelly Library - named after former student, Joe Kelly - is home to over 5,500 books, CDs, cassettes and journal issues.

In addition, NESA's partnerships with several other institutions -- including Harvard's Yenching Library and the Tufts University School of Medicine library -- grants NESA students access to more resources.  For all students, faculty and alumni, the Kelly Library's holdings are searchable via the library's website.  Students, faculty and alumni also have internet access to the library's subscription databases - such as EBSCO Host and the OMLIT(c) database - and over 34,000 online journal articles.

The library has ample room in the custom-built space for studying and group meetings and houses a computer lab and space for students to view audio/visual media, such as DVDs, cassettes and tapes.

The library is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  It is closed on Friday and Sunday.
