In this clinic, NESA interns treat pediatric and adolescent patients referred through the BMC Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. A wide range of conditions are treated. Starting in the Fall of 2005 the interns began seeing and treating “in patients” of the Boston Medical Center as well as patients in the out-patient clinic. An exciting aspect of this clinic is its truly multidisciplinary approach with interns and doctors having access to the same medical records and results.

Opened in summer 2005, this clinic treats adult patients referred by their primary care physician in the BMC Department of Internal Adult Medicine or the Family Medicine Clinic. Patients in this busy city-based hospital clinic are primarily Hispanic and interns are treating victims of violent crime, work-related injuries and chronic pain syndromes. An exciting aspect of this clinic is its truly multidisciplinary approach with interns and doctors having access to the same medical records and results.

This multidisciplinary health team comprised of a primary care doctor, nurses, a physical therapist and a social worker to provide care and comfort to a wide range of elderly men and women. ESPNS is a joint venture between the Lynn Community Health Center and the Greater Lynn Senior Services located in a brand new space on Buffum Street in Lynn.

NESA in affiliation with the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital opened this out patient clinic in summer of 2005. Current patients are referred by their primary care physician in the Shattuck Hospital system. This active and engaging clinic sees patients from all levels of society and with a wide range of conditions and disorders.

This NESA Clinic at the Family Health Center is an affiliation with Hallmark Health. The Interns work alongside Tufts Medical School Residents as part of a multidisciplinary health team serving the greater Malden area. Many patients are referred by the medical staff of the health center for a wide variety of ailments but a referral is not necessary.
Wednesdays 2-7 pm , Thursdays 9-2 pm
Appointments are $20.00 with a sliding scale available for qualified applicants.

This clinic, located in Boston's Copley Square, provides Acupuncture and Herbal medicine in a public health center known for its research on acupuncture for people with HIV/AIDS. Open to the general public in addition to those with complicated chronic conditions. Patients are treated in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Roxbury Comprehensive Community Health Center

This clinic in affiliation with the Behavioral Health Department of RCCHC, offers adult medicine to the community of Roxbury. The various departments within the health center system generate referrals for acupuncture. Patients from the internal medicine, cardiac, dental, mental health and substance abuse departments are all treated.

Victory House/Portis Family House

In affiliation with the Victory Programs and the Wellness Center, interns provide acupuncture to residents of the Victory House and the Portis Family House. Victory House is a residential substance abuse treatment program for men from all cultural backgrounds. The Portis Family House is a shelter and transitional housing program that provides support for families while participating in on-site addiction treatment and comprehensive direct care services. Primarily women and children, these families live in Portis Family House as they receive addiction treatment.

The Wellness Center

This site specializes in treating residents and graduates of residential detoxification centers and halfway houses operated by Victory Programs. The Wellness Center offers yoga, reiki, and expressive therapies as well as acupuncture in a relaxed atmosphere for clients recovering from substance abuse.

There are two sites are offered in affiliation with Winchester Hospital. The Wilmington facility offers a unique setting and treatment opportunities in a quiet space, overlooking wooded conservation land surrounding the hospital.
Patients in both locations are all ages with health problems ranging from musculoskeletal ailments to internal medicine.
