Degree Options

Admissions

NESA accepts an incoming class for each fall term, which begins in August.
* Early admission application deadline: December 1
* Regular admission application deadline: May 1
Applications are considered on a rolling basis.

Transfer students may enroll in August, January or May based upon evaluation of prior coursework.

Application Requirements

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
* 1-2 page statement of purpose
* Updated resume
* 2 professional or educational letters of recommendation
* Official transcripts from colleges attended
* Application fee
* 2 passport photos
* Admission interview

Class Options Full time; part time (limited number).
Financial Aid NESA participates in the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) program, which includes subsidized and unsubsidized loans.
Length of Study 3 calendar years (fall, spring, summer) full-time; 6 years part-time.
Program must be completed within 6 years.

All practical classes are divided into small groups with an 8:1 student to teaching assistant ratio.

* Professional backgrounds: all types (i.e. artists, lawyers, massage
therapists, nurses, etc.)
Science Courses

Pre-requisites for full-time:
Anatomy & Physiology I and II
General Biology
General Psychology

Co-requisites to graduate:
General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry
Microbiology with a lab
Physics

Please contact the Admissions Department for science course requirements and guidance on acceptable courses. These courses are taught at NESA and you do not have to be enrolled in the program to take them at NESA.
