Accident Insurance: All matriculated students are required to carry Accident insurance while enrolled in NESA. Accident coverage covers you should an accident, such as a needle stick, occur while you are at NESA and NESA-affiliated sites.
Sickness Insurance: The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires all students taking 75% of a full time course load to carry sickness (or medical) insurance meeting minimum (QSHIP) standards. All matriculated students taking nine (9) or more credits in the fall term (75% full time) will be automatically enrolled in sickness insurance for the full academic year. Family and other plans are available. Benefit brochures are attached, but are also available online here.
Online Sickness Insurance Waiver: Students with a health insurance policy that meets or exceeds QSHIP standards, have the option of waiving coverage online through Consolidated Health Plans.
