See firsthand how medicine is practiced in China while experiencing some of China's most spectacular ancient beauty.

Open to acupuncturists and acupuncture students, this China Study and Cultural Trip will provide diverse clinical observation and discussion with some of the most distinguished professors of Liaoning TCM University Hospital, as well as touring some of the most beautiful and culturally significant sites in China. A treatment at an herbal spa can also be arranged!

Study

Participants will observe top clinical professors assess and treat a high volume of patients. Participants will observe in a variety of departments over a 5-day period, and will also tour the hospital and university. Participants may observe in outpatient clinics as well as accompany doctors on inpatient rounds. A translator will be provided. Additionally, Bing Yang, NESA Chinese Herbal Medicine Department Chair, will be present to facilitate the students’ learning experience.

Culture

After completing the study portion of the trip, participants will travel by high speed train through rural villages to Beijing, where there will be 4 days of touring the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Great Wall, Summer Palace, Ming Tomb, Tiananmen Square, etc.
