NESA's BOARD OF TRUSTEES

As a non-profit, educational institution, the New England School of Acupuncture is governed by a Board of Trustees. The board members' responsibilities are as follows:

  • Review NESA's mission and purpose
  • Appoint, support, and evaluate the president
  • Ensure effective organizational planning
  • Ensure adequate resources
  • Manage resources effectively
  • Determine, monitor, and strengthen the organization's programs and services
  • Enhance the organization's public standing
  • Ensure legal and ethical integrity and maintain accountability
  • Recruit and orient new board members and assess board performance
